Pricing, fine print

The goal for the 82North service is to provide a cost-effective way for you to get your activity online.

Pricing is as follows with several choices to fit your business model. 82North Optimum service is at NO ADDITIONAL cost to you but simply provides you with a "lower than industry cost" merchant card. Contact 82North for details!

Payment Methods available on your site include Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex, Bank Debit and Mail Check.

82North Startup

Flat rate currently set at 4% for V/MC/D, 4.5% Amex. See DonorMarket for details.

82North Optimum

82North Optimum clients either have their own merchant account or apply for one through the 82North designated account providers (Metro Merchant Services or QOS Merchant Solutions). The designated providers have agreed to waive application fees and set the discount rate at the same level (or lower!) than 82North pays. The monthly rate for the merchant card is currently $12.50-$22.50 (includes the online gateway) and Your funds will be available to you immediately in your DDA/checking account.

One time events: $100. If your event has more than 200 registrants, you are charged $1 per registrant (without the flat fee of $100).

Additional (though modest) fees for nametag creation. Talk to 82North about pricing for multiple event registration.

Donation/annual giving/capital campaigns: $150 with annual contract.

Membership signup or renewal: $150 with annual contract.

MULTIPLE SITES! for an annual fee of $350 .

There are NO ADDITIONAL 82NORTH FEES OF ANY KIND unless you request custom software coding. see Conditions of Use for more information.

Bank Fees: The merchant bank fees range from 2.19% plus 25c for each Visa, M/C, and Discover transaction to 3.5% plus 25c for AMEX. These prices are subject to change - we are at the mercy of the merchant banks. Please note that our software requires name, address, zip code and CVN validation so your rate is the best possible one. Corporate and Reward cards carry additional add-on fees.

82North Premium

Premium clients with custom pages are charged according to the degree of customization. The remainder of the service is covered under the rates for 82North Optimum.

All 82North clients have a customized page with your branding and a web link from your web site. Your customers can use our service seamlessly through your website, keeping your marketing intact.

Premium clients can work with our technical staff to create a format to your specifications, keeping the simplicity of our service intact.

Beyond our core service, we'll even provide you with a website for the same cost as leading web site hosting companies. We also can maintain your site if you wish. Additional, but competitive, charges apply.
